When is Greg Brockman giving $25 million to the pro-regulation side? When is Chris Lehane spending half his time to establish safety? Or are these principles just theater for your employees so they don't ask why your Global Affairs team and Leading the Future are trying to trample anyone who advocates for safety?

From my NYC CD, Alex Bores has an interesting life arc. At age 8, he joined labor protests against Disney (his Dad worked for a Disney-owned company, and Disney was seeking to slash their health benefits). He studied labor rights at Cornell, and was active in Students Against Sweatshops, fighting against child labor. He then got into tech, and claimed he joined Palantir because their president, Alex Karp, claimed that his mission was to fight the onset of fascism by helping government be more capable in meeting people’s needs. The argument was that when government fails the people, they are more open to authoritarian appeals. And this was coming from Alex Karp!!!
