The NYS Legislature just passed my bill to repeal a dormant, dangerous anti-immigrant law. The law we repealed was enacted during the Red Scare, and it would let the governor force noncitizens from designated countries to register with the government, and require landlords and hotels to report on them daily. In Trump's America, dormant laws like this have the potential to be weaponized. Thankfully, we're getting rid of it. I'm proud to fight alongside NY4All champions @KarinesReyes87, @CatalinaCruzNY, and @tonysimone MELT Act. This bill passed as part of the budget, which now awaits Gov. Hochul's signature.

As I told @jonfavs, If AI isn't safe for kids, it shouldn't be available to kids. I delivered the strongest AI safety bill in the country here in NY, but there's more to do. In Albany, I'm advancing a bill with @Gonzalez4NY that would prohibit AI companies from making their products available to kids if they don't make them safe for kids. I'm running for Congress to do the same, and to make sure no parent is forced to share the Raine family's pain.

Yesterday we started running this ad during the Red Sox game.
Midway through the game the ad was taken down by the station (which is owned by Red Sox ownership).
And then the Sox blew a 4-0 lead.

I’d guess that the rationale for the Bores campaign releasing this poll is to show Bores has withstood a deluge of negative attacks from Open AI-backed Leading the Future & hasn’t been overtaken by Lasher despite Bloomberg’s super PAC spending $5M boosting Lasher in positive ads.

That last part is incredible. @AlexBores is already winning despite the huge AI spend against him & the $5M Bloomberg PAC for Micah. And before the Bores campaign ran a single ad.

Crypto is not like AI in many ways, but the most important one for politics is that crypto has been, is, and probably always will be a low-salience issue for the public. You can often purchase policy outcomes on low-salience issues, but not high-salience ones. AI is the latter.
