Kaduna Walks Pink — A United Step Against Breast Cancer The streets of Kaduna came alive on the 25th of October 2025 as Kaduna State Government, in strong collaboration with Think Pink Foundation, led a successful Breast Cancer Awareness Walk dedicated to promoting early detection, education, and hope. The walk, sponsored by Her Excellency Hajia Hafsat Uba Sani, Wife of the Governor of Kaduna State, was graced by Her Excellency herself, alongside Her Excellency Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, top dignitaries, partners, health advocates, and hundreds of passionate participants. Breast cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women worldwide, and while it is more common in women, men can also develop breast cancer. Awareness saves lives — early detection gives every individual a fighting chance. This event stands as a remarkable demonstration of unity — showcasing government, private sector, and community partnerships working together to raise awareness, encourage regular screening, and emphasize the importance of timely care. The Think Pink Foundation appreciates the unwavering support of the Kaduna State Government, our partners, volunteers, and media allies for joining hands in this life-saving cause.
