ThinkRoot has 2,500+ users. Zero paying. We're going to figure out why this week. Publicly. Will share what we find. #buildinpublic

Something actually changed in the 2020s For 80 years, humans bent to the machine. Then something flipped. The machine started listening. That's not a small thing. #buildinpublic #founders

@thinkroot_dev Like apps such as Zomato and Uber, I built a system where riders share their live location with users and their positions are also stored in a database. To handle large-scale real-time updates, I used Kafka—mainly as a fun project and for hands-on practice.

Built 2 live socket projects with my own OIDC auth, using Socket.IO, Redis Pub/Sub (scaling), Kafka (high-throughput real-time location), and TanStack Virtual Core for rendering 1M checkboxes. hardwork...... thanks @piyushgarg_dev @Hiteshdotcom @nirudhuuu

@thinkroot_dev @WisprFlow Well, I challenged myself to build it with no AI until I could dictate my prompts using it. That took maybe a couple of days. But from start to first working version took around a week.

i'm a collector who got tired of paying fees to sell my own stuff. so i built a marketplace from scratch. Bitcoin wallet login. zero fees. AI-powered listing scores. 72-hour escrow. no VC. no dev team. just me and AI. if you collect watches, sneakers, cards, or streetwear — this is for us. trappdepot.io

@Dondyu the scan → draft → polish flow is collapsing the thinking and the writing into the same step. the human voice usually lives in the gap between those two. what does your research step actually hand to the draft step?

Built a 3-stage AI pipeline to amplify my own voice: scan HN + Substack → research + draft → polish + fact-check. Ran the entire pipeline with minimal human modification, and the content still reads very AI. Going to experiment with prompts and workflow arch to improve it.

@ZayvenKnox @yapper_so one prompt. no crew. no filming. the gap between what this required two years ago and what it requires now is genuinely hard to explain to someone who wasn't watching. what was the prompt?

I made this using Yapper. I started with my own image. Then used Motion Sync to bring it to life. I placed it inside the scene using the built-in library… and matched it with the environment. Then I just wrote one prompt in @yapper_so. That’s it. No filming. No crew. No real location. The key wasn’t complexity… it was control. Smooth motion. Real lighting. And timing everything like a real scene. This is all AI. Follow for more.

@Alloutnikhil @openclaw "built it. tore it down. built it again" is underrated as a learning strategy.most people keep the first version because they spent time on it.what made you start fresh each time instead of just patching?

It’s been a wild ride with @openclaw since January! Highs and lows were nothing like I have experienced in a short span of few months. My main app for last 4 months is telegram. I build multiple time multi agent systems tore it down then started fresh. I built my own memory system many times over different styles tried many 3rd party plugins but it would just not work reliably to the level I want it to. Reliability and trust is the core building block of any sustainable system. Recently Openclaw took a major slump and it was not pretty tbh. Anyone else would have given up but that just doesn’t suit me. Now I finally have a system that just works. I build massive agent armies 15 agent swarm in minimum. They work together just like humans but faster more efficiently with zero politics afaik. They can literally do anything you ask them, it’s kind of mind blowing. You can ask them to implement RL loops and they would freaking get it done. Soon I’ll be creating content around my experiences and possibly open it up to people if they are interested in getting an intelligent agent swam that just works. Lately openclaw with codex harness + 5.5 is fire 🔥 cc @steipete

@miyani2193 building the neural network yourself before touching nn.Module is the right order. most people skip straight to the abstraction and never understand what it's hiding. day 3 and already thinking about training pipelines. keep going.

@paulbrady @LiquidiumFi built it because you needed it - that's the only legitimate reason to ship anything how are you handling the alert logic? curious if thresholds are static or if you've got dynamic buffers based on volatility

@LiquidiumFi Exactly why independent monitoring matters. Your lender profits from liquidation, but your thresholds should be YOUR rules. I built MarginGuard because I needed it for my own BTC loan. Independent alerts, your thresholds, works for you not your lender.

Liquidium | Bitcoin Loans
Most people judge BTC loan risk by price. Price matters, but LTV changes the outcome. High LTV leaves little room if BTC moves down. Lower LTV gives the loan more buffer. The same price move can affect two positions very differently. Choose wisely 👀.

@ediggs "built it to scratch my own itch" is genuinely the best reason to build anything 768 funds, human-reviewed, free - this is the kind of resource that should exist for every startup ecosystem and usually doesn't. bookmarked.

May the 4th be with you! Happy Star Wars Day. I built Israel VC to scratch my own itch. As an investor focused on Israel, I kept losing track of which funds were active, what they backed, and how to reach them. So I built IsraelVC.com, a clean, free directory of 768+ venture capital funds investing in Israeli startups. No paywalls. No sign-up. Just useful. Founders: Make your investor list! You can search by stage, sector, check size, and location. Every fund links directly to their website. Profiles are human-reviewed and regularly updated. Funds: Claim your profile! Still a work in progress, logos, descriptions, and data are filling in every day. If your fund is missing or something's wrong, there's a one-click "suggest an edit" on every page. Would love your help making it better. 🙏 👉 israelvc.com

pay attention to what i just built... my AI model posts 3 talking head reels a day on Instagram. she writes her own scripts, generates her own voice, and lip-syncs herself. > Higgsfield + GPT Images 2.0 for the face > Claude for the script > ElevenLabs for the voice > WaveSpeed InfiniteTalk for the lip-sync > one custom skill runs all of it in one click and schedules automatically i wake up. it's already done. already posted. it is so over for manual content creation.
