A CA Final student with a permanent exemption (50E) scored: DT & IT : 58 ✅ IDT : 43 ❌ IBS : Exempted (50E) Aggregate of papers: 151/200, yet the result is UNSUCCESSFUL because ICAI requires 50+ marks in each remaining paper after claiming permanent exemption. Should @theicai revisit this provision and consider an aggregate-based approach similar to ICSI? Many deserving students are falling short despite demonstrating overall competence.
