@KevBirnie @cufcjoel The fanbase at Harrogate is growing - home attendances up 30%. Problem is lots of Hgate are Leeds or York fans. I agree more people should travel, but ones that do are committed. Tinpot gets bounded round too much. Harrogate going by scale are doing okay need new ideas needed

@thisisdanross @cufcjoel Aren't fanbases supposed to grow? It's been 5 years as you say. Oh no, not at all. We got bit badly by naive decisions made at board level. We'd be in L2 if we brought Hughes in 5/6 weeks earlier than we did, but it is what it is and we are where we are now.

Makes me sick how 17th downwards are all absolutely horrific teams and only 2 of them will drop. A few teams in the NL would wipe the floor with them all. Put it this way, Newport, Harrogate, Barrow, Crawley and Bristol Rovers all absolutely deserve to go down but only 2 will 🥴

@KevBirnie @cufcjoel Or maybe they’re just a tiny club who’ve only been in EFL 5 seasons and are actually punching quite well. Bet that double relegation is still making you mardy. They definitely have their issues, but you seem to have more

@cufcjoel Harrogate are the genuine definition of tinpot. Half the NL teams have brought more fans up to Brunton than they did. Awful team.
