Top 5 countries:
1. 🇩🇪 Germany: 50 (+5)
2. 🇳🇱 Netherlands: 23
3. 🇫🇷 France: 13

At the end of March, after cleaning the dataset, there were 175 licensed CASPs, +8 vs February (source: ESMA MiCA register).

An interesting month in the EU crypto space. We’ve got:
- one of Spain’s largest banks receiving its CASP license
- the first Croatian MiCA license of any kind
- the first Estonian MiCA license of any kind
- the first Latvian EMT

@ScalableCapDACH and @validvent are now permitted to offer 'personalised recommendations to clients about crypto-assets or services'.
They are the first two companies to receive this authorisation on its own.

Friendly reminder that just offering advice on #crypto is also a regulated activity in the EU. This month, we added two companies to the EU Crypto Register (eucryptoregister.com) who recently received their #MiCA authorisations for this and only this.

I reviewed hundreds of #crypto whitepapers when putting together the EU Crypto Register, and so did official agencies.
I love that fact that on some official government calendar is an appointment called 'Review Unstable Coin'. What a time to be in financial regulation.

To all the idiots in my replies trying to explain the etymology of these airport codes to me, do you honestly think I don't know and understand every single one of them (except the Canadian ones which are just weird)?
The point was, to normies, these are not intuitive.
