@taiki_phrases Thank you. I never fully understood why they have KOBAN written on them. I feel like Japanese speakers (native or learners) would know 交番 but non-speakers (such as tourists) would not understand the romaji term. Do you have any insights on this?

They are called 交番 (Koban). But the kanji literally mean "mix" (交) and "number/turn" (番). What does that have to do with police?

Kalder:
- fintech rewards platform
- helps brands offer cashback and loyalty inside their apps
- users link credit cards
- claims integrations with Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Plaid
2023–2024:
- starts fundraising in Silicon Valley
- claims rapid growth
- tells investors brands are making hundreds of thousands per month
- says dozens of companies are already live
- reports fake metrics
