Turkey is not part of the EU roaming zone today. That is a fact. But here is why including Turkey in the EU roaming area would be a logical, high-impact move for both sides.

Buddy, you don't know what you're talking about. Which is understandable, you thought Turks are the enemy and didn't bother to understand. However Turkish identity is inheritor of an Empire identity. As you know empires are mix of different nations, merged under one imperial name. Turkish identity actually built on that, simply changed the name Ottoman to Turkish. Whomever called themselves Ottoman were Ottomans back then, now whomever called themselves Turkish, is Turkish. So in a way, DNA detective work is meaningless. I - and most of people I know - don't understand why people talk about this a lot.

You seem like a reasonable man. I would suggest you take a DNA test (you never know). Do not worry about us, we have been here since the beginning of time. We kicked Turkey out of our land when we had 30 shepherds with knives after 400 years of Ottoman rule. As a new state in the 1910s we almost erased Turkey of the map. Imagine what we can do now with a superior Air Force. If and when the time comes Russia won’t attack Greece nor the US or Europe or India, not even China but I could see all of them tearing your state apart. I might give you Pakistan but I even doubt that. Not to mention the Kurds and the Israelis. So before you go to bed tonight pray that this day will never come. With respect, your friendly neighbour!

Hell no I don't think that at all, I'm a die-hard supporter of nation states and unions of states in equal rights. So when I live in that time I'd strongly suggest dissolving the empire in peaceful way similar to British empires dissolution or like the Soviets. And my stance stands. Greece is letting itself used without a clear return in sight.
