LOOK: As of 6:20 PM, three lanes of Katipunan Avenue southbound remain closed due to the billboard that collapsed along the C5 Katipunan-Ateneo earlier today, July 19. Moreover, two lanes in the northbound lane have also been partially closed due to two fallen Meralco power posts. The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) enforcers are on site, but motorists are advised to use alternate routes. According to an MMDA enforcer, all lanes will be open again as soon as the billboard is removed, noting that it might take until tomorrow afternoon. Meanwhile, PAGASA predicts that the Southwest Monsoon will continue to bring strong to gale-force gusts in Metro Manila from today until Monday, July 21, while heavy rainfall is expected until tomorrow afternoon, July 20.
