@igboonaija3 Nigeria is a crime scene!! The sole purpose of leadership in Nigeria is the impoverishment of its people. Nigerian leaders deeply truly despise the people & land they purport to lead.

Chemical hair relaxers are fueling a silent health crisis. Roughly 45% of Nigerian women have been diagnosed with uterine fibroids, often developing them by age 35. A full decade earlier than women in Western countries.

@omoalhajaabiola Every skill you learn depends on how well you identify problems & communicate solutions. Ideas die in silence. Opportunities pass if you can’t express value. Whether in business, leadership, or relationships, COMMUNICATION is the most powerful skill that unlocks all others.

📍 #𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐱𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭: 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 (@BayelsaStateGov) 👇 📜 Bayelsa State has enacted several laws to address GBV, but customary laws, though they lack formal regulations, still hold a strong influence. ⚖️ In the state, prosecution is delayed due to lengthy legal procedures and intimidation of witnesses, thereby weakening cases. 🏘️ Only one shelter and one Sexual Assault Referral Centre exist to support GBV survivors, both of which are inadequate for the population of over two million. 📢 Although Bayelsa State uses various methods to raise GBV awareness, over half of the respondents said they are unaware. No IEC materials are specifically designed for people with disabilities. ₦ In 2023, Bayelsa’s Ministry of Women’s Affairs spent only ₦570.10 per person due to a limited budget. Bayelsa State Government (@govdouyediri), there's room to do more to protect your people.📊Use the #WomanityIndex to build a stronger, more effective system to prevent and respond to GBV. 🔗 Read full report here: invictusafrica.org/womanityindex/ #WI24 #DatalySpeaking #BayelsaState #EndGBV #DataForJustice #GenderEquality #WomanityIndex24
