It’s so absurd that after child birth women are expected to get up and lug their newborn to a pediatrician a week later while still recovering and most likely experiencing severe pain while walking. Why can’t doctors do a house call for this if it’s soooooo fucking important to weigh that baby

Can anyone explain why I cannot “wake up”until 10am? I wake up at 7, but I feel dead until 10 and it’s making my life really hard. Eating breakfast doesn’t help. Not eating makes it worse. Only large amount of caffeine kind of help. I have no idea why I’m like this.

Soooooooo…for the ladies (of whom my audience is 70%) so guys you can peace out now. My current cycle is sitting at 72 days, so I’ve missed 2 periods. I am not pregnant. I don’t know for sure but my body has signaled it’s ovulated a few times (but obviously hasn’t). Nothing significant has changed, I’m feeling fine and healthy overall. I’m 37. When do I start worrying about this? (Spoiler alert: I am worried).

I paid $1100 for a studio apartment in 2014, that was really cheap. I made ~2k a month working at a deli and then for my friend’s dad. I think we got to do more bc going out was cheaper but it wasn’t bougie or anything - I’m talking dive bars with cheap beer or kickbacks byob. We also were irresponsible with money and had credit cards, some unpaid stuff etc. My cat had to go to the vet and get stitches and it destroyed me. I was still on my parents insurance, shopped at Winco and ate Mac n cheese and fruit idk. Clean girl aesthetic wasn’t a thing yet and I feel like that lifestyle costs money.

@5sosliker Rent was a thousand first of all, and stuff was cheaper but wages were lower, plus it was cheaper up unto that point, so we were the brokest at that time.

so if rent was $300 in the 2010’s and food/drinks, clothes, household necessities, and whatever else were significantly cheaper and yall were freah out of college with $40k+ jobs …. how tf did milennials stereotype themselves as the “broke” generation
