Watching the horror of the Sarah Everard murder being derailed to further stigmatise and attack trans people is frankly beyond belief. To those responsible: do you know the damage and hurt you're inflicting particularly on young, scared trans people? Do you even care?

Prof Winston (an expert in human biology & IVF) clarified. Where is the evidence that men (however they identify) suffer domestic abuse at numbers that women do?

The EHRC has clarified that even with a GRC, men can be omitted from places reserved for women according to protected characteristic of sex

Trans id men are disproportionally represented in statistics regarding sexual offences compared to the rest of the male prison population, despite being smaller numbers

Trans identified rights conflict with women's rights, they need to be balanced according to sex and that's currently not happening. Women fought for their rights, they do not include men however they identify. That's the conflict.

@Tselei1 @AlfPayne @OwenJones84 375 trans identified people were killed in 1 year, none of those in the UK. Across the globe, 40,000+ women and girls are killed, over 200 of those in the UK alone due to domestic violence alone. The rest are sex based, FGM, honour killings, rape, femicide.

@Tselei1 @AlfPayne @OwenJones84 I've already read this. There is no evidence that any of the individuals were murdered for being trans. Many were in the sex trade (which is rampant with abuse), and some were during violent alcertations not related to their identity.

@Tselei1 @AlfPayne @OwenJones84 There is no evidence at all to suggest trans identified people are killed all the time for being trans. Government statistics show this. It's hyperbolic to suggest that they are with no evidence to suggest this. You have to be able to back what you say.

Sexual violence happens in situations which are already dangerous, such as prostitution. It's not right, but we can't claim its because these people are trans id

It's simply not true, your own example mentioned gay people not trans. Any death is tragic, but let's not say things that are false.
