Only interested in FromSoft Soulsbornes + indie games, but I participated in the Marathon server slam with a friend one night to try it out & tho the gameplay was not for me the old internet & DOS inspired ONI/visuals + the multimedia cutscenes were some really nice eye candy

@intrnetdaughter Yea a lot of places will do a yearly lease but if you need a shorter period they’ll offer a higher rate per month. Last two months beyond my lease in my old apt was like an extra $100 per month in addition to their rent increase.

@offbeatorbit Yeah I think a lot of people forget this site is not a microcosm and not at all representative of the population irl. AND it brings together different cultures/contexts (we can better see that now by checking location). Not really definitive or worth taking too far.

The idea that any one generation has some sort of ownership on bad/dysfunctional/coercive/etc sex is stupid + too online. I like a lil intergenerational squabbling as much as the next guy and there are def differences re: norms worth observing but everyone is taking this too far.

In what world do you think either of those games would ever need a sequel, let alone from the director who has both definitively said he does not like sequels & that Bloodborne is “the strongest reflection of [his] type of flavoring” which he does not want anyone else to touch?

@yomaaren Picked it up again last week after trying and bouncing off of it years ago, and everything just clicked this time. Masterpiece. Really good evolution of Miyazaki’s vision/themes. On the Shura ending now before I save scum to go back and do the final act for the good endings.

i dont think i had a single issue while playing through this game, i enjoyed almost every boss fight, the story is great, the game feels amazing to get better at and it might be one of the greatest combat systems i've ever had the joy of experiencing... holy fuck
