@onastovetop @KratomCoalition After the sheriff changed his mind he posted a brand new video and this is the one where he redacted what he had said in his first video about using Kratom as a community danger to agreeing that it should be regulated and that synthetics like seven were the real danger

Our friend from our advocacy group contacted him and gently corrected him and as they conversed the sheriff changed his mind

I happen to know the person who actually chatted with the sheriff, and he redacted what he said and made an updated video. That's ethical, moral and he took responsibility.

Madalyn: When you say "publicly" that you are not aligned in any way with the 7-OH advocates (you can pull the tape), then you joined an advocacy webinar it raises questions. I don't care if you join the 7-OH advocates webinars -- that is your right -- just don't act like you are as pure as the driven snow when people ask a question about your alignment with them. And what is this issue with "people spying on me"? It is either public or not. Is the 7-OH webinar not a public meeting? I am glad to hear you are not afraid to show your face "publicly" -- so let's do that on a "public" webinar?

The truth is the American Kratom Association (AKA); Botanics for Better Health and Wellness (BBHW); and Global Kratom Coalition (GKC) are working together to protect the right of consumers to have access to safely formulated, properly labeled, and age gated kratom products. The "Kratom Gals" have adopted the "live and let live" message that puts consumers at risk for unsafe 7-OH products manufactured that do not have any "reasonable basis for safety under the conditions of use" required by federal law. That is the problem, and that is precisely why legislators and policy makers are so confused.

I listen to your podcasts virtually every week and I hear the pro-7OH messaging -- wrapped in the "live and let live messaging". So what would any reasonable person think about Madalyn or any of the 7-OH Gals co-hosts providing answers to staff/member questions on whether 7-OH should be scheduled. Just listen to this exchange -- first you claim you never called me any names and then you assert calling me a liar is justified because you do not believe Madalyn or Venus would promote their pro-7-OH messaging. Whew!

Well, well, well..Look what I recieved from an anonymous person tonight. Sooo I have been busy writing advocacy kratom/opioid articles for my new website for Kratom Testimonials which people have given me full permission to share on that site. And also going over all of the awesome testimonials from soooo many of these courageous kratom consumers. I can tell that kratom consumers are leaving such raw bits of their heart and soul on the page as they write their kratom story and its so gut-wrenching that I frequently become teary-eyed. And then I stopped dead in my tracks as I opened the next e-mail. I don't even know what to make of this-I never knew there was such backstabbing people among some of the kratom advocacy ranks. I am pure of heart in my advocacy journey for chronic pain patients and my only goals have always been to help others because I know how many patients are barely hanging on. Obviously, this group wasn't ever for me as I have nothing in common with this kind of vile actions.

That is both understandable and reflective of the reality of the challenges associated with advocacy created by the onslaught of bans at the local and state levels. My problem is with the leader of an advocacy group criticizing other advocates who themselves may have needed to take a break. However, in Robin's case, there have been numerous meetings in Montana where she has been AWOL. Not a single meeting in person or virtually. That's not taking a break, that's not being engaged in advocacy at all. Robin Graham nods approvingly when Madalyn Sklar properly emphasizes the need for advocates to particularly show up in their states where they live and can have maximum impact. That is the definition of hypocrisy.

@MerabDvalishvil It is incredibly frustrating to see plain-leaf Kratom getting dragged through the mud because of these new, ultra-concentrated chemical extracts. They are not the same thing. Kratom is a botanical that helps millions livebetter lives, it’s being conflated with Synthetics
