@SpotifyCares Last 24hrs, my Spotify insists on playing Tesky Brothers “I’m Leaving” as the next song (and then on unlimited repeat), no matter what playlist or song I pick initially. Happens both as next song and if I press next song button. On different devices on my account.

@dcrainmakerblog Didn’t correct after one workout. Two runs today. Both GPS-tracks messed up: 1st kilometers off, then auto-corrected while between 4-5km. 2nd run also kilometers off, auto-corrected while between 3-4km

Update: The fix for this went out earlier this morning, most watches will automatically get corrected via normal background sync by the end of the day, but if headed out for a workout today, do a sync beforehand to ensure latest satellite data.

Having GPS accuracy offset issues on Garmin, Suunto, COROS, and other watches & bike computers? Welcome to 2021. Here's an explainer on what's going on, and how it's gonna get fixed: dcra.in/GPS2021

@dcrainmakerblog Great update of iOS Garmin Express. Adds layers to map w/ pace/HR/elevation info. Also FINALLY lets you edit start/stop times of activities after saving 🙌 Might be more to it, would love if you did a short review.

@GarminFitness my manually entered lactate threshold from years back seems impossible to erease from your software, and switch to fenix 6’s calculated lactate levels. Any workaround? Or a fix coming soon?

1/19 Alright #CardioTwitter, here’s my first series of 2 #Tweetorials, and I’m going to call it: “The Aorta is Not Just a Pipe.” This is Tweetorial #1 focusing on normal aortic function. Tweetorial #2 will focus on abnormal aortic function.

@Freeletics Hi, I saw you also encourage family training. With the subscription through my account, do my family have access to their own freeletics accounts and training program (as they are part of family sharing through Apple store)?

@psirides We’ve done the Darwinian state for the last many flu seasons. Covid-19 is not the flu, but the debate must be more nuanced than «with us or against us» arguments. Usually, we’re somewhere between Hippocratic and Darwinian, ie in road accidents.

Much of the Darwinian State modelling I've read has led me to the conclusion that some economists & most of The Right have neither living parents nor grandparents. Or any apparent emotional connection to older people.

This from @morgan_dgmorgan is the first attempt I’ve seen to make sense of What Comes Next. He has subsequently conceded a seventh option - 'Normal Society Improved'.

@GarminFitness Thanks for the reply. And, like your link suggests, the OHR can in some instances lock onto my cadence. *Unfortunately, this seems to be the norm when walking on steep, strenuous ascents.* It hardly ever happens during normal running, running up lower slopes, or normal hiking.

Fenix 6 is mostly fantastic, but why is OHR failing when walking uphill? This mid-run hill (green line) was the most strenuous part, but HR registers much too low. This is a recurring problem. What gives? @GarminFitness @dcrainmakerblog

@FLTDOC1 Enjoying your aviation fuel strength gin you brought to Zermatt. Proper tonic is key. Good memories in strange times. Hope all is well!

@psirides Intensivists never saved many lives. But intensivists save lives no-one else can save.

A politician likely just saved many more lives than an Intensivist ever could.

In NZ @jacindaardern has just announced: 1. Everyone who comes to NZ (from anywhere) will need to self-isolate for 14 days. 2. Massive restrictions on mass gatherings 3. Expansion of public health measures 4. No cruise ships to NZ. This will save many many lives.
