@henningsanden There’s a checkbox, combine on import. So you can keep working in a sane way in the project with separate objects, export one FBX, and combine in Unreal :)

@JonasNoeland @Anduril100 Problemet med all forvirringen rundt energikostnader, er et vi ikke veier inn at samfunnet ikke tolererer blackouts. Vi trenger derfor en garantert kraft. Fornybarkontrakter bør derfor kreve et garantert minimumkapasitet, som de kan kjøpe andre steder. Så kan man sammenligne..

Kjernekraft er kanskje ikke så dyrt som du tror. Det som er dyrt, er kortsiktige regnestykker. Selv den «dyreste» kjernekraften ser rimelig ut – hvis du regner slik regjeringen selv gjør. I dag svarer jeg @Anduril100 i E24. Han argumenterer godt for å slippe kapitalismen løs på kjernekraften – og vi er enige om det viktigste. Men han plukker feil tall fra boken vår «Energikrisen», og det ønsker jeg å oppklare. Kjernen i saken er enkel: Hva du mener kjernekraft koster avhenger av hvilken tidshorisont og rente du legger til grunn. Vil du ha investeringen tilbake på femten år? Da må du ha 194 øre pr. kilowattime (kWh). Fordeler du kapitalkostnadene over seksti år, blir det 130 øre/kWh. Men her er det interessante: Regjeringen legger selv til grunn to prosent risikojustert rente – dog ikke risikofri – for investeringer etter syttifem år (vær obs på rentestegene). Fra et bærekraftsperspektiv argumenteres det for renter ned mot 1,4 prosent over hele livsløpet. Med slike forutsetninger koster selv det første og dyreste kjernekraftverket i Norge under 59 øre/kWh med hundreårs levetid — slik boken legger til grunn. Etter at investor har fått forventet avkastning på investeringen sin, produserer kraftverket billig strøm i generasjoner til en driftskostnad på 30 øre/kWh. Forskjellen mellom markedsprisen på strøm og driftskostnaden kan være vesentlig, og representerer en betydelig verdi – både for eiere og for samfunnet. Det er ikke et regnetriks – det er hele poenget med langsiktig infrastruktur. Så hvorfor vurderer vi kjernekraft med helt andre regneregler enn det staten bruker på alt annet? Og hvorfor hensyntar vi ikke bærekraftsperspektivet? Legger vi ikke da opp til et «bruk-og-kast-samfunn»? Gi kjernekraft like vilkår som annen kraftproduksjon – vilkår som hensyntar både levetid og egenskaper. La markedet avgjøre resten. Les hele innlegget i E24 – lenke i kommentarfeltet.

@thomasfossgard I don’t know. I prefer things to be minimal, smooth, seamless, default legal. Until now in France, Spain, Germany, we are drowning in obsolete red tape, poor gov websites, unclear rules, steps that could be automated, etc.

@MatthiasPretzel @VeroWendland In the US now, 12 reactors of the same basic type (PWR) like Biblis have achieved licences to operate for 80 years. The 30 year "lifespan" argument is pure nonsense. These are machines that can be maintained, parts replaced and be made to run 80+ years.

@VeroWendland @remmaloque Selbst ohne den 2002/2011er Ausstieg sind diese 30% eher Idealisierung als Realität. Einige der Reaktoren der 1970er Jahre wären heute mutmaßlich ebenfalls teilweise stillgelegt oder hätten massive Investitionen für Laufzeitverlängerung gebraucht.

@DavidOsmond8 Interesting! Nice work and will follow how it develops. I would love to see transmission requirements. Treating Australia, a place with 3 time zones as a copper plate isn’t very realistic, and I can see the possibility of bottlenecked scenarios in a more detailed simulation.

If you’d kept the 167TWh/year you had in 2007, you’d be nearly there. And no, they weren’t old. Over 10 reactors in US have been approved to run for 80 years now.

@marhin @75Jamin Naja, heute haben wir gar keine AKW mehr und nur noch etwa die Hälfte an CO₂-Emissionen pro erzeugter kWh. Womit ich nicht sagen will, dass die AKW für den höheren Wert verantwortlich waren. Sondern, dass man mit EE genau so gut dekarbonisieren kann.
