Will frequently check credit at (moral) bank (hole in the wall). Favours for favours. Fond but not in love. Charity standing orders. On Sundays ring road supermarket. (No killing moths or putting boiling water on the ants). Car wash (also on Sundays). No longer afraid of the dark or midday shadows. Nothing so ridiculously teenage and desperate. Nothing so childish. At a better pace Slower and more calculated. No chance of escape. Now self-employed. Concerned (but powerless). An empowered and informed member of society ( pragmatism not idealism). Will not cry in public. Less chance of illness. Tyres that grip in the wet (shot of baby strapped in back seat). A good memory. Still cries at a good film Still kisses with saliva. No longer empty and frantic. Like a cat. Tied to a stick. That's driven into. Frozen winter shit (the ability to laugh at weakness). Calm. Fitter, healthier and more productive. A pig. In a cage. On antibiotics.

@TheDisassociate Yes, but that's always the case with human behaviour on some level. There's no absolutely self-aware or intentional action. However, I stand by the premise that there is more intentionality on the side of the sellers than the consumers 90% of the time.

I don't give a fuck if you don't like my tone. I'm sick and tired of these fakers.

I personally helped the people now running the show at Restore Britain, for free, because I was serious about changing things in this country for the better, and believed in them as morally-grounded individuals. I found myself mysteriously sidelined the second Rupert gave them the jobs and the status they always wanted. I'm not too proud to admit how hurt I am by this. I invested my life's saving in research that I just wanted to be used to literally help "restore" what we understand as Western civilisation, and despite that, I couldn't even get a response to my offer of being involved at a more senior level. If that's a symptom of how they intend on fixing the country, only to do so insofar as it advances their careers personally, there's nothing to separate these "young turks" from the Conservative Cameronites that Hitchens warned us about. It pains me to say this, it really does, but right now, they all look to me like transparent careerists who are stealing a living from Rupert Lowe to build profiles as 'Great Men who tried' when it all inevitably goes to pot.

Everything's about Gen-Z and alpha. No one gives a shit about us 30 something's approaching 40 who have nothing to show for our efforts to build a life for ourselves except receipts and emotional scars.

It's shit being a millennial. We were promised a future that doesn't exist and now we're too old and soiled by trauma for anyone to be bothered to save us.

This is the sort of absurd particularism/ political nihilism that frustrates me the most about the people getting involved with Restore. Values have more political purchase than race because they're grounded in morals, whereas race is not. The implication of claiming that race matters more is taking the view that morals themselves are downsteam of race, which is as insane as it is unscientific. Such a view also appears contradicts Restore's emphasis on repatriating Christianity: to say that 'people' of a certain scientific constitution matter more than principles is an explicit rejection of anything that can be attributed to God. That's not to say that race and demographics don't matter, rather that they only matter out of political circumstance. The sooner we put the essentialistic nonsense to bed the better.

@KurtRosenthal1 Their religious origins in Abrahamism is, of course, universalistic. But the politics of Zionism is more of a particularised universalism forged in response to the historical conditions they've persisted under.

Restore Britain, at best, has a superficial understanding about the intensity of social alienation in Britain. If it had a remotely adequate one, it wouldn't be so transparent about administering austerity measures that would drive many people across the country to suicide.
