Kaori SAKAMOTO 🇯🇵 79.31 "I managed to finish without major issues, so overall I think today’s performance was good." On whether she was thinking this was her short program performance: "Not at all. Recently in practice, I’ve been doing clean run-throughs a lot, and within the first 10 seconds, I felt like 'okay, today I’ll do it without any mistakes again,' so it didn’t feel like a final performance, more like a normal practice session, and I felt quite relaxed going into it." On what her coach said before and after her skate: "She told me, 'This is your last chance to do a clean short, so go out there and give it your all,’ and when I came back, they greeted me saying, 'That was close, there were a few risky moments.'" On feeling nervous: "I was nervous this time as well. I started to feel nervous just before the six-minute warm-up, but I was able to calm down during it." On how she felt regarding the audience: "I was really happy. Before, I used to think, 'Ah, this might be the last time I see a scene like this,' but today, regarding today's performance, I just felt like we were all sharing this joy together." #WorldFigure #FigureSkating
