Liverpool six points behind Man Utd with seven games left. Looking like they will have to win at OT in May.

@AdamJoseph @markgoldbridge Clueless take. Just because Rasmus gave some air to TUS, he wants to lift him up to Sesko levels. Calm down.

.@markgoldbridge: “I like Sesko.. but he's not an upgrade on Rasmus. He's not an upgrade on Rasmus at all. He might be the same, he might end up being better, but he's not an upgrade. He's just another learner driver who's not ready for that responsibility.”

@pkwestel I clearly remember the time when Ole’s United team went behind a goal several times, and then used the 2nd half to come back and win. Lots of similarities there.

Tactical Analysis: Michael Carrick lets his United side play with a good level of freedom in the attack. It helps make United unpredictable The side effect is it can lead to some clunkiness and poor first halves thebusbybabe.sbnation.com/manchester-uni…

🚨🚨🗣️ Michael Carrick on team news: “Mason [Mount] is getting closer. I think we’ve been patient, so we don’t want to push anything. We want him back and he can have a big impact. He’s getting closer which is good for us. “Matta [De Ligt] is a little bit working towards it. He’s a bit behind Mason, so we’re just trying to work with him to progress him.” #MUFC [MU]

A few thoughts after Carrick’s two matches: - The starting XI is the most technical United team. Dalot is the only exception, but Maz was at AfCon so there was no other choice at RB. - Players are well-coached. Passing is fast and often one-touch/rondo style, with players deciding the pass before they get the ball. - Football is possession-heavy, attack-first with preference to vertical passing, and forward runs. - Long balls are controlled with a view of retaining the ball possession, rather than simply clearing it. - Defensive set-up is high quality with experienced defenders Maguire/Licha/Shaw preferred to Yoro/Heaven. Early signs are very positive. With 1-game per week schedule, the players can remain fresh and play with high-intensity. The coaching team is prioritizing shorter training sessions which are more intense. All good signs. GGMU.

@JonathanShrager Precedent set by Ole appointment was … finishing 3rd and 2nd in successive seasons as full-time manager. If anything, the board should follow that precedent.

I’m far from suggesting Carrick should get the gig; we’ve a lot more we must see. But given morale pre-arrival, if he gets MUFC into UCL, playing this way, he must be considered. Board will be reticent given precedent set by Ole appointment but Michael must be assessed separately

@pkwestel @m1k3sowavy @slouchpundit These are problems that no interim manager can fix right now. If you’re going to hire someone, might as well hire Ole who’s a club legend, has managed United before, and has backing of majority of fans to manage till summer.

@m1k3sowavy @slouchpundit The midfield in this team is terrible. There is no Pogba type talent in the team. The attackers we have are currently playing to their level This team isn't really underperforming. If anything they've over performed against what their expectations were

So United appointed a 343 coach and that coach a year in is publicly saying he's got to change because the club won't fund it. Unbelievable

@AmorimEra So Wilcox has asked Amorim to change formation as players suited to 3-4-3 won’t be funded. And the club is leaking to media that Vivell was not happy with how Fulham easily exploited Amorim’s predictable tactics in the 1-1 draw. New manager soon ?

🚨🎙️ | Ruben Amorim and Jamie Jackson’s extended dialogue in the Leeds United pre-match press conference: Jackson: “You’re starting to understand that to play your 3-4-3 you, in essence, need to have a lot of top players, and it sounds like that’s NOT possible. “Can I ask why you didn’t realise that when you first came into the club, or can you clarify what you meant?” Amorim: “I do NOT want to talk about that. I just focus on the Leeds game.” Jackson: “That’s interesting, it’s not like you to not want to talk about it.” Amorim: “Yeah.” Jackson: “Do you regret saying it, maybe?” Amorim: “No, no, no. But I do NOT want to talk.” Jackson: “I’ll try one more time. Looking at those comments it’s a little bit mystifying why you would say that a year in that you only just realised. Has something changed with regards to the budget, or what you’ve been told? Did Jason Wilcox maybe speak to you? Amorim: “I do NOT want to talk about that, but you are very SMART (laughs).”

@Utdtruthful This attitude of wanting to “protect” himself, not watching his own team take penalties, United trying to protect a 1-goal lead rather than going for 2nd. Come on man, this is not a United manager

🚨🗣️ Amorim on if he listens to Podcast or Radio here: “Yeah, of course I did that since I was at Sporting three years ago. “First of all I had the same rules. I wasn't listening to anything about the Portuguese league because I was protecting myself. “I always loved the EPL so I watched every game. I listen to TalkSport with all the accents, Simon Jordan ranting all the time. I imagine what he says about me. Do I listen now? No, no, no way [laughs]. #MUFC [Sky]

@BhushanManmath McGrath was such an underrated bowler. He was one of the best in the world. He almost got Lara out. The Aus captain just had to trust him to bowl a good-length out-swinging delivery that could carry to the 2nd slip.

@wholemars My FSD asks me to “apply slight turning force to the steering wheel” every time I use it. Even for driving two blocks away to a grocery store. But apparently some people can travel to the moon and back with FSD “without touching the steering wheel”. Am I doing something wrong?

@JakeKarll @wholemars It’s a very short 5 min drive. I look forward except when turning. I have the cabin camera. I’m usually looking at the road when this message pops up. Sometimes I look at the screen to change music but fsd should be resilient to that?

@thoughts_utd @wholemars You either aren’t looking forward and paying attention to the road, or you don’t have a cabin camera in your car. If you have a cabin camera, you can just look at the road in front of you to dismiss the prompt to touch the wheel.
