We are learning that the Liberal government, now holding the slimmest of majorities in the House of Commons, intends to assert control over all parliamentary committees—over votes, witness selection, points of order, agendas, and more. Committee work is among the most important responsibilities of Parliamentarians, full stop. It is where legislation is thoroughly examined to ensure that decisions made by government serve the best interests of all Canadians. While the Liberals are entitled to seek greater control, what I witnessed firsthand in Ottawa last week was troubling: a tone of arrogance, along with the mistreatment of some witnesses who expressed views not aligned with the party in power. This is what is unfolding, and Canadians should be aware. Parliament will look very different over the next three years—even with only a razor-thin majority.

A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27: “It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young. At 26, I thought I had time… To fall in love. Start a family. Grow old. But cancer doesn’t care about plans. Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee. I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live. Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it. Go outside. Look at the sky. Feel the sun. Just be. Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love. Laugh more. Write a note. Tell someone you love them. Complain less. Give more. Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy. Be present. Put your phone down. Show up - really show up. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life. Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to. And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever. Thank you for reading this. Live your life well. And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.” Holly 🩷 Repost & share Holly’s important advice. ❤️

It’s time to abandon the false premise—and false promise—of differentiated instruction. We can teach the same thing to everyone at the same time. We can’t teach different content to different students at the same time. That’s magical thinking.

I agree with Mark Carney and his dismal gloomy reality for Canada. What are your thoughts on "Forward Guidance" for Canada now that we are majority run by a textbook fearmongerer? Mark Carney claims he won't "sugarcoat" the truth, doesn't share any specifics, but then literally compares U.S. auto tariffs to the War of 1812 to manufacture a fake existential crisis. The fearmongering has one clear goal: terrifying Canadians into accepting a vague $1.5 trillion spending spree disguised as "national security". It's not leadership, it's a rhetorical blank check wrapped in a cheap "Canada Strong" slogan.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

During the Global Financial Crisis, when there was a real risk of panic, I developed a practice called ‘forward guidance.’ The situation we find ourselves in today demands the same. Watch the full video on YouTube: youtu.be/uk2TZwkhi4E

UNREAL! Carney drops a fresh 10 minute infomercial... and CTV airs it straight, no edits, no pushback, no fact-checking Congrats, CTV: you've officially graduated from journalism to government stenographer His "forward guidance" was a legendary disaster Since jumping into politics, Carney has dodged Canadian media and real hard interviews like they're radioactive. This isn't outreach,,, it's a carefully staged propaganda rollout So far, it's been little more than jet-setting around the globe signing flashy MOUs while the bureaucracy keeps swelling He's basically Trudeau 2.0: all photo-ops, bigger deficits, and the same habit of spending like there's no tomorrow (because the bill lands on someone else's kids... Carney's kids live in the US) And this media-relayed victory lap? It's just getting started And of course, CTV brings in Scott Reid, whose son works for Carney, to say how great it was! 🤦‍♂️

🚨 UNREAL The Globe and Mail published a cost of living story today. Here’s who they profiled as the victim: A retired Calgary BANKER who has a SECOND HOME in Puerto Vallarta and takes ANNUAL TRIPS to France and Italy is now only going to Europe for 3 weeks this year instead of 6. He’s booking flights earlier to save money. THAT is the Globe’s definition of financial struggle. This is the same boomer demographic that: Bought homes for $80,000. Watched them hit $1.2 million. Voted Liberal & watched as deficits and taxes rose. Told their kids to work harder. But the average Canadian under 35: No home. No pension. No retirement savings. Renting a basement at 32. But let’s all hold hands and pray for the retired banker’s shorter vacation.

🔴 You can’t make this up. In January, the Iranian regime killed +40,000 protesters in the streets, including children as young as 8. Just 90 days later, countries like the UK, France, and Spain supported Iran’s appointment to a leadership role on a UN human rights body.

A lot of people in these comments are throwing insults for saying Carney wasn't elected. None of them have pointed out a single fact that's wrong. So let me be very clear. I never said it was illegal. I never said that he was the first to become Prime Minister without being an MP. I said he was “the first Prime Minister in Canadian history to have never been elected to public office”. And the bigger picture is the part nobody in the comments wants to touch 👇 The Carney government was about to fall. All three opposition parties — Conservatives, NDP, Bloc — said they'd vote non-confidence. Conservatives had a 24-point lead 📉 The government was done. So Trudeau prorogued Parliament. Shut it down. Suspended democracy so the confidence vote couldn't happen. CBC confirmed it: "the Liberals will avoid a confidence vote." Then during that suspension, 0.38% of Canadians chose Carney as Liberal leader. Then Trudeau — the man they had no confidence in — advised the GG to appoint Carney as PM 👑 Same party. Same government. Same Salesman. You cannot claim he had the confidence of Parliament when they suspended Parliament specifically to avoid testing it. And since then? He has fooled this country at every turn 👇 📄 Said he'd "axe the tax." Scrapped the one you could see. Kept the hidden one — 7¢/litre. Zero rebates. Industrial carbon tax still climbing to $170/tonne. 📄 Said he'd fix the $390M slush fund. "Replaced" it with a $5B version. Same minister. Bigger budget. 📄 His ethics screen covers 5% of Brookfield. The Ethics Commissioner said under oath his future pay is tied to Brookfield's success. 📄 Said he'd stand up to China. Flew to Beijing. Dropped EV tariffs from 100% to 6.1%. Slave labour imports from Xinjiang grew from $59M to $601M. Canada blocked 2 shipments. The US blocked over 1,000. 📄 Campaigned on 380,000 immigrants. Real number is 765,000+. The UN called the program "a breeding ground for contemporary forms of slavery." 📄 $35.8M in taxpayer money went to companies his wife advises. 📄 Appointed a BlackRock executive to run international trade. BlackRock and Brookfield are co-investors. 📄 5 MPs crossed the floor with no by-elections. 74% of Canadians across ALL parties say that's wrong. 📄 Now he's personally choosing the next Governor General — the person who signs his laws into effect. No vote. No public input. This is what you're defending. Read that list again. Slowly. Then tell me which one is wrong. I'll correct it publicly. And this is just what fit in one post. The pinned post on my profile has the full picture. Every thread. Every source. Every dollar traced. Then come back and tell me why you're still defending him. Call me what you want. The facts don’t care 🇨🇦 #StandOnGuard #StandOnGuardCanada

Mark Carney was not elected as Prime Minister 🇨🇦 He was appointed by the Governor General on Trudeau's advice. No public vote. March 14, 2025. The last official poll before his appointment? 📉 Conservatives: 36% Liberals: 33% He became PM while another party was leading. The election didn't happen until April 28 — six weeks LATER. He is the first Prime Minister in Canadian history to have never been elected to public office 📄 Not municipal. Not provincial. Not federal. Never. Not once. And now? 👑 He's personally choosing the next Governor General. That's the person who signs every bill into law. The person who dissolves Parliament. The person who decides who forms government. No election. No public vote. Just a phone call to the King. The man who was never elected is now choosing the person who holds the keys to Canadian democracy 🔑 Every claim sourced. Every fact on the public record. ——— If you're new here — welcome 🇨🇦🤍 This post is about ONE fact. But it's part of a much bigger picture. This account exists to keep the government accountable through verified, sourced facts. No party. No agenda. Just the public record 📄 Many Canadians still trust mainstream media — and that's okay. Our next post will show you exactly how the narrative gets built. Two real examples from this week. Once you see it, you can't unsee it 👀 The Carney government has not been working in the interest of Canadians. We've documented it. Thread by thread. Start with the pinned post 📌 Canada has been divided on purpose. Liberal vs Conservative. That division is the distraction. The goal here is to stand together — behind the facts — as Canadians 🫱 Every claim is sourced. Every number is documented. Check it yourself — that's the whole point 🫡 Stand on Guard 🇨🇦 #StandOnGuard #StandOnGuardCanada
