I got a raise at work. The raise means my kids are going to lose medicaid, and now I’ll have to spend $460 a month to add them to my private insurance… so it’s actually more like I’m losing money. Cool cool.

Only out-of-pocket patients pay "full" price because they don't have the power to bargain. Only the USA has this issue with medical care. Stop being a sheep.

@AvailableForNow @bananaha333 @peachmilfshake You know the requirements to get Medicaid are extremely strict, right? You constantly need to prove your income, what your vehicle is worth if you have one, what your housing costs, some states won't let you on it if you're homeless.

My grandmother was a Post Master for decades. We're both mad about how USPS staff is treated nowadays, too. I'm sure that contributes to her behaviour. That is at odds with my wanting to see her receive proper reprimand.

While it's easy to tell when a letter/pamphlet is spam, packages are different! You don't know what's in there; whether it's a life-saving prescription or a precious memento from a friend overseas. Sure, it could be a fast fashion purchase, but who cares?
