@DeanTTraining i eat two meals and hitting 200g of protein is really hard. on a good day, i get to 180-190g with a snack in between lunch and dinner or after dinner. any tips ?

I apologise if I misjudged your tone. And I do hear your point, it’s valid enough. In no world do I think Alvarez would do badly at Barça, it’s more that I don’t see the need for a more associative profile in a side that already has players like Lamine, Pedri, Fermin and Olmo.
Rather, what we often lack is exactly what Lewandowski gave us during his first few years. Someone who dominates the box, acts as a hold-up presence, and takes full advantage of the wide service. Alvarez is more than that, and he’s great at it, but less effectively so in this system (as a lone striker).
And yes, I do agree that we won’t be able to afford him.

I’ll never see him as a 100m player. Neat, tidy, and undoubtedly very good. But there’s a clear cap imo.
