Every time I see people people (like @christopherrufo ) talk about "right wing art", I think of @DougTenNapel Doug created Earthworm Jim. He's been a creative powerhouse for decades but was locked out of his industry b/c he refused to submit. If you just played Doug's games and read his comics, you might not know he's "right wing". He has a lot of Christian allegory in his work but he doesn't do "right wing art". He just makes good stuff. But he refused to bend his conscience to his industry's demands and so they kicked him to the curb That didn't stop him. He's the rare comic artist who can write, draw, and ink everything himself. He did self-publish funding for new books. His Bigfoot Bill and Earthworm Jim books are probably the best book projects I've ever funded. He knows quality and demands the best. But it's hard as hell. It's expensive. He raised $200K for one of his books but delivered such a high-quality product, I don't think he made any money on it at all. If you are a right-wing billionaire and you've got money "sloshing around", talk to Doug. The AnimEowyn movie is funny. It goes out of its way to feature monsters that look cool animated, but doesn’t use wargs, which everyone associates as enemies of Rohan, because then it really is just Princess Mononoke.
