Thurrock Swimming

Thurrock Swimming Club competed in the A Final of the M11 league. Thurrock finished 4th overall and had some great performances. Well done to all of the swimmers who represented the club #PurpleArmy 💪🏻 👏🏻

We wanted to mention how @thurrocksc swimmers behaved impeccably while their head coach had to shoot off early at the regionals. Well done to parents Keighley and Louise for looking after them. Older swimmers timing the younger ones in warm up and being amazing role models.

Congratulations to Jude Hills who made the British 100 back Junior Final at this year's British Championships in Sheffield.  Jude finished 7th overall and 3rd in his age group with a time of 58.71 which was a 1.2 second personal best, he also equalled his PB in the 50 back 👏🏻👏🏻

Congratulations to Fran Key for achieving her GB qualifying time for the 50 breast, a fantastic achievement 👏🏻👏🏻

It is a great opportunity for TSC to play a greater role within the community and help develop each child’s physical and mental wellbeing.  This project will further break down the barriers that exist and encourage more of the community to access swimming lessons.

The award from Thurrock CVS will be used for young carers and children aged 7-10.  The grant will help support an additional 14 young swimmers to access swimming lessons, motivate and build self esteem.

Thurrock Swimming Club has been awarded a grant by @Thurrockcvs to help tackle inequalities within swimming.   TSC have been successful in providing opportunities to residents aged 11-25 who have special needs or are young carers.

Another fantastic day @Swim_England National Winter Champs, Nikita 2 massive best times finishing 2nd overall in the 15yr old in 200 fly.  Ethan competing a very fast 50m back.  Well done boys 👏🏻👏🏻
