Source d'inégalité, la LEZ à #Bruxelles ? Pas si sûr : une analyse l'a étudiée suivant une perspective de justice environnementale et sociale. Conclusion ? Celle-ci protège les plus précarisés, tandis que les plus concernés résident svt dans des zones bien desservies par les TP

To all my colleagues and friends in the UK: please sign this petition 👇. At the moment visiting my partner or family abroad is not considered essential and thus not allowed. This needs to change, for me and millions of other immigrants! petition.parliament.uk/petitions/5651…

THRILLED to report that #ToxicTruths 📚 is now Amazon's 1,001st *BEST SELLER* in the category of Ecological Pollution. If you're sick and tired of those ONE THOUSAND more popular books (I know I am!) why not check out the entire book #OpenAccess here: library.oapen.org/bitstream/hand… 🤣

Such a pleasure to take part in this exciting online course on the future of #UrbanMobility after COVID19, organised by @OxfordTransport. Inspiring discussion today, the issue of #transportjustice came up a lot, in very different contexts.

@S_tiivi @LauraEllenDee I think the bad reputation they have developed and the time pressure they put on reviewers puts off many competent reviewers. I won't review for them again after my last experience.

@S_tiivi @LauraEllenDee The final rejection is a good thing. But it only happened because I was bothered to explain them why I was disappointed with the process. I felt they hadn't read my first report. And in the meantime the authors had spent time on revisions assuming it was on track to acceptance.

@S_tiivi @LauraEllenDee Same here (Sustainability). Recommended rejection with an extensive review report, other 2 R's wrote two lines and recommended Accept and Major. Editor decided Major. Was asked to review again. Still had same flaws. Told them I wouldn't review again. Then they rejected it...

@LauraEllenDee I reviewed a couple of manuscripts for Insects. For one, I put a great deal of time and effort into my review. R1 had corrected the minor comments and ignored the major ones. I recommended rejection. Accepted and published the following week. Since then, I have turned down.

@railtraveller42 @virginbonobo @Eurostar I don't understand your question. Eurostar told me this in private message "Until 25th December only Belgian nationals or residents can travel with limited exceptions, a test is NOT required. From 26th December anyone can travel but any non-residents must have had a negative PCR"

@thverbeek @virginbonobo @Eurostar Where did you see about changes on the 25th? The Belgian Embassy site says "As of 25th of December, a negative PCR test taken at the earliest 48 hours prior to arrival will be necessary for all the non-residents, regardless of their nationality ". Have I missed something?

Following the announcement by the French government that the border with the UK will close at midnight on Sunday 20 December, the only trains we will run on 21 and 22 December will be from Paris to London.

@lmsatkin @Eurostar @EurostarUK @UKinBelgium I talked to someone on the phone and also got confirmation in private Twitter message that those travelling to Brussels do not need a negative test to travel before the 25th. They are aware of confusing information on the website and are looking into changing it.

@virginbonobo All passengers must have a printed copy of negative test result within 72 hours of travel. The NHS free test is acceptable. Please check each countries websites for accepted tests.

@Eurostar Belgium only requires a negative test from the 25th December onwards, as per the official information of the embassy you are referring to. Can you confirm I can take the Eurostar from London to Brussels on the 24th without a test? Thanks!
