@hindookissinger This is just untrue. There’s no “idolatry” in Buddhism. Buddhists don’t worship or pray to the statue itself. Buddha Statues are used as a reminder to pay respects/homage to the Teachings of the Buddha. We are grateful and thankful and paying respects to what Buddha taught us.

@razibkhan This is temporary, 1 Cor 15:28. Vishishtadvaita is usually least alien Vedanta for Christianity. If an advaitin (smarta?) like Vivek isn't polytheist because Nirguna Brahman is a single principle then neither can we call Julian the Apostate, Pharoah, or the Quraysh polytheist.
