Nämäkin riippuvat paikasta, alasta ja henkilöistä. Olen ollut karonkassa, joka järjestettiin saunassa ja ruokana oli mm. sipsejä. Oli hauska karonkka, ja kaikkien mielestä hyvä valinta!

10 years ago science showed there are 15 known Earth tipping elements that regulate the state of the Planet. Today we present findings that 9 of these 15 systems are on the move. There is now scientific support for declaring a state of Planetary Emergency nature.com/articles/d4158…

We are on the brink of failing to limit global warming to 1.5°C, according to the new @UNEP Emissions Gap Report. This is unacceptable. We need more #ClimateAction ambition from every country, city, business and individual to protect our future. unenvironment.org/resources/emis…

Koalas have now become "functionally extinct" in recent months due to fires, drought, heat, and deforestation. An iconic and irreplaceable species will no longer be able to survive in the wild without massive intervention. Hours of daylight as a function of day of the year and latitude. Took me a second to read this chart. Totally worth the second of effort. A marvellous animation. Source: buff.ly/33E1d5T

Carbon Bubble begins to show visible strain, enters stage that's very akin to the founders of a Ponzi scheme paying the early members extra money when they start to get worried that their investments are worthless and the FBI investigation is real.

For the first time in recorded history, there was no rain anywhere in mainland Australia today. Tomorrow, for the first time ever, Sydney will be at “catastrophic” risk of wildfire — a brand new category of risk. We are in a climate emergency. smh.com.au/environment/we…

We don't talk about this enough: Humanity emitted more than half of all CO2 in roughly the last 30 years. Decisions made in the 80s, 90s +00s kept emissions growing. Other paths were realistic and available. The climate emergency is not an ancient curse, it's a recent choice.

There must be 2500 people at least now in Traf Square. All breaking the law, according to the police here. But the Sun’s out. Our numbers are growing by the minute. We are #ExtinctionRebellion. And the Government has lost the high ground to us - by trying to ban us... Pse RT!
