@ticketcaper Implies you have access to multiple accounts, which using would be a blatant service violation, you are only allowed to have 1. You're surprised to be blocked whilst openly flaunting the rules? These red dots, while yes are being resold, offer no indication it is the same seller

@Ticket_Help2022 @saumil This is a SINGLE bot problem. It's the same SINGLE person over and over again, multiple events... and wouldn't be surprised if that bot is working directly w TM.

If you're getting the "Your Browsing Activity Has Been Paused" message on @Ticketmaster, consider sharing your experience with @Michael_Rapino, CEO of @LiveNation. I also recommend tagging @saumil so both can see how widespread the frustration has become and how many customers are being turned away. When legitimate customers can't buy tickets, it hurts fans, venues, artists, promoters, and shareholders alike.

Hysterical! Usher & Brown drop obstructed view sections. Bots attack. Every seat winds up in the hands of 3 people, 1 of which got 70% of them. @saumil could easily find out these bad actors and teach them a lesson, but he won't. @Ticket_Help2022

Should we tweet @saumil every day until we get an answer on cart timers? Bots continue to feast on high-demand drops, and without cart timers, checkout becomes a race. From a fan perspective, this seems to make it easier for bots to compete. What's the rationale behind removing cart timers for high-demand events? Why does @Ticketmaster remove cart timers only for high-demand events like Ariana Grande and New York Knicks Finals tickets, while keeping them for less popular shows? Wouldn't a better solution be requiring users to be logged in before carting tickets? Accounts that repeatedly cart and abandon tickets at abnormal rates could then be flagged and investigated for bot-like behavior. What’s the reasoning behind removing cart timers only for the biggest drops?

Another day, another event ravaged by bots where I continue to ask @saumil why we do not have cart timers to combat bots. Cart timers are only off for popular events. No cart timers make it a race to check out. Bots will always win that race. Make it make sense

@Ticket_Help2022 @saumil Have you ever gotten an answer because I wonder this every time I come across it? Optically it looks as if Ticketmaster is ensuring those tickets only get in the hands of botters. I've written our legislators about this malicious practice. @saumil

@Ticket_Help2022 For a FACT Ticketmaster coordinates releases with inside botters to ensure tickets get into certain hands. If that is false @saumil then please explain why most of the time the cart timer is disabled on big events, sometimes even months out? 🙄

Ticketmaster's Global President says the queue isn't random. He also says partners have the ability to send m fans below-market ticket offers on event tickets they can no longer use. If that's the case, why couldn't partners have the ability to buy better queue spots too?

@Ticket_Help2022 @saumil If @saumil is all about transparency, then I wish he would answer why sometimes the cart timer is disabled and checkout is first come first serve.

This was allowed for years until sued so it’s not exactly fake shock, but glad something is being done. So if that’s the case, the brokers should be identified and you know precisely who has 2 times the stated limit listed? If you list with an aggregator, pretty sure they don’t combine two separate peoples listings. Why would they be allowed to keep these listings up, and why is ticketmaster resale even allowing an over the limit listing? Also you did not mention wheelchair accessible seating listed hours after the general sale. This is clearly a bad actor in every way possible. You either know the aggregator who has the listing or know the broker who has the listing. Ticketmaster can take action, but in this situation they clearly have not.

Ticketmaster and @DanWallLN want to clean up ticketing? Maybe they can start in house. This show went on sale today with a ticket limit of 6 tickets. Yet here are 2 listings, one of 10 tickets and another of 12 tickets that are wheelchair accessible seating that are listed directly on @Ticketmaster resale platform. Ticketmaster knows exactly who is listing this tickets, they should not only not allow this, they should ban this seller. But they won’t because they will profit greatly from the ticket fees.

@Ticket_Help2022 100% and I believe their way around the fraud is to actually release the tickets to the public, but tip off the 'inside buyer' so their no cart bots are running full force at the time of drop. There is no other explanation for some of these drops that all go to one person.

A scary thought about resale tickets. Does anyone ever think the promoter or artists work with ticketmaster and directly list their own tickets on ticketmaster resale for higher prices and more fees? Many artists have listed directly on stubhub in the past, so why wouldn’t they do this?

@ScottFriedman3 @VividSeats I have an idea. Pay after fulfillment, not just for Skybox users, lower sell fees which are the highest of them all and realize the world exists outside of Illinois

@Ticket_Help2022 @DanWallLN This AM there was a drop for DMB Jones Beach, 20 pit tickets. If you look at SH, 1 person ended up w all 20. It's either an inside job or they make money off it. There is no other explanation to turn off the cart timer.

hey @DanWallLN if you guys claim to hate bots so much, why do you ever drop tickets and not do cart timers? It just ensures the bots will be able to get the tickets since the bots you don't stop are always faster than a human.

The Power of Ticketmaster’s BBA System - Part 1 If you’re a part of the Ticketmaster developer community, you’ve probably seen all the modernised systems used to cart and checkout tickets. The one primarily in use is called C02, this has all the fancy GraphQL carting and websocket subscription responses. When I posted my queue bypass a while ago, that was a different system, it was called RC0, which used the json/isc endpoints. Let's go really far back. Before I was even doing development work for Ticketmaster, they had a different system I will refer to as BBA. If you’re an older broker, you might have seen this system in use before. If you're a developer, you may have seen the path inside Ticketmaster's robots.txt file
