Spin it however you want it but he’s a term you use often which is scalper. He also owns a resale site now that doesn’t bring anything back to rights holders. You left that part out. I love your passion and in America we can have any opinion we want. But you are rolling with a “scalper”

@tickets113 @Ticketmaster You’re leaving out all the rights owners he brought hundreds of millions back to. He used an ecosystem that was harming teams and brought the money back to the teams. That feels aligned to me, and to him!

Wrong! Chiefs being out doesn’t strengthen anything at this point. Chiefs are a national brand with a superstar QB and a Tight end that is the most recognizable football player currently on planet earth. Chiefs 10x better than Jaguars, Chargers or Patriots. Steelers better, Denver better, Bills better than Chiefs and the Texans a wild card.

@tjayjones8 Hard to take you seriously after you posted this a few months back
TJAY Jones@tjayjones8

Very disappointed by some of these takes about the #Saints going into the 2025 season. How can you judge a team based on something you haven’t seen? We have seen new coaching staffs inject new life into a team. To say that a player will look the same as last year when you know damn well the coaching last year was atrocious is lazy. Don’t know why everybody wants to make it to the club at 8:30p when the place start jumping at 11p. Let’s see what happens first.

Mickey Loomis is like Jack Black in the movie Shallow Hal. He sees the #Saints Roster as one thing the world sees it as another. Nobody is going to give you top value for talent that is not producing at a high level. Something has got to give on Airline.

The Saints have failed to lead for a single minute in six of their nine games. In two others, they took a brief lead in the second quarter only to immediately give up a TD on the ensuing drive & never lead again. The lack of competitiveness is staggering. Historically bad stuff.

One thing clear from Jon Sumrall's Tuesday press conference.... He and his team are locked in on UT-San Antonio. I'll be surprised if the Green Wave do not play well in the Alamodome tomorrow night.

Chris Fowler on ESPN again says that Alcaraz Djokovic will be day session. That’s really annoying if true. Sinner Aliassime cannot be the Primetime match.

Scalpers lose $ everyday on shows. I respect your hustle and your passion but please don’t keep your head in the sand on this. Yes, they occasionally make a huge lick with a Taylor Swift or an Oasis but those are the unicorns. The majority of shows are losers for ticket scalpers. Yes, you read that right. The majority of shows are losers. Scalpers hope the real big ones outweigh all the losers.

@ScottFriedman3 That 70% for tickets below face value includes sports and music. When you factor in music only the number change drastically. You need to stop using the 162 games of losing baseball teams in stadiums in comparison with music

When scalpers buy up one of your artists you do understand that fans would never buy those tickets at the prices you set them at? Do you offer refunds to those scalpers? You should send them thank you notes. We saw this with Brand New. We are seeing this with Papa Roach. You can’t act like every tour is Taylor Or Oasis. You are being intellectually dishonest.

@tickets113 @ScottFriedman3 Boo hoo, artist aren’t sad when scalpers can’t make money. You guys have no idea what it takes to build a career and that artists will go into rooms that are substantially larger than they headlined in the past. They are selling the most tix and highest grosses of their career

@ScottFriedman3 Gordon Lightfoot was a great example. My guess is the scalpers bought all the tickets jacked up the prices and there wasn’t a demand at the prices they set. I can’t fathom this example is recent as he hasn’t been relevant for decades but proves that scalpers harm fan experience

I am hearing and seeing lots of blame going around as to why the Essence Fest is empty. The reality of the situation is simple, the lineup. If they had Beyonce or Kendrick Lamar for one of the 3 nights they would have at least guaranteed one sellout. Bigger issue going around the city should be that there were/are 14 stadium acts touring America this year and only 2 had New Orleans dates. Chris Brown is coming in October and Billy Joel was coming until illness hit him. Coldplay, Post Malone, Kendrick Lamar, Oasis, Morgan Wallen, Beyonce, Blackpink, Shakira, Metallica, Chris Stapleton, The Weeknd, My Chemical Romance all bypassed Nola. Maybe we should be asking why?

@forcemm I respect your opinion, hustle, and enthusiasm for the side you are fighting for but you are being intellectually dishonest about the numbers. There are so few events that sell for the numbers you are using to promote your cause.

@forcemm Ok, but your number 1 point on that flyer to legislators is the 5/10x multiple. I don’t think that’s very genuine in 2025. We don’t live in 1987 anymore. Promoters and artists price tickets often times over market not 5/10x under.

@tickets113 I have access to many of the same tools the brokers do. Agreed, it's rarely 5/10x on every ticket, but it is also extreme multiples on some percentage of the sales.

@goatcollect Lebron has been scratched from the game. The jersey should be taken down asap from auction considering he will never wear it.

1 Billion views on Social Media for All Star Weekend and the All Star Game hasn’t even started yet. More eyeballs on the items being worn, equals a greater community of people looking to collect what they are seeing. Tonight people will be able to bid live on the jerseys, while the players are wearing them. The current Highest Bids? 1: LeBron James - $50,000 2: Wemby Debut - $35,000 3: Steph Curry - $24,000 4: Shai - $15,000 5: Cade Cunningham Debut - $13,000

Nearly 13k tickets currently available on @Ticketmaster resale for the @SugarBowlNola with many below cost. Hotels downtown have slashed prices for the last week. The Sugar Bowl is a much needed event for New Orleans but please take the economic impact stories you read about over the next week with a grain of salt. Georgia and Notre Dame fans are not traveling like many media members will tell you. The new CFP format has completely confused fans over which game they should attend.

In a story completely whiffed on by local New Orleans media, over 4000 tickets per Taylor Swift show were released for sale last night. Majority were bought by resellers and prices have dropped by as much as 70%. To Get in with fees now is hovering around $600.#ErasTourNewOrleans
