That's not a conspiracy, it was written in black and white by the people collecting the data. Distrust is valid here

The effectiveness did drop past the alpha variant, but remained highly effective against hospitalizations until the omnicron variant. But omnicron became prevalent well after the vaccine was being pushed

Well stats are bound to suggest that when you test every unvaccinated person that enters hospital regardless of what they are being admitted for and don't bother testing vaccinated.

Only then did government decide to start telling you unvaccinated people were the problem... For not getting a vaccine that didn't even prevent the new strain. Hope this clears it up

At the time the majority of the public made their decisions it was delta which was far less dangerous. By the boosters it was omicron which was basically flu
