The staff at @TheChristieNHS CCU are like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. They are amazing, not just at looking after my husband but also making sure I am ok. Big thanks to all the team but especially Rachel and Anna. Wish we weren’t here but they make it less difficult x

Didn’t have time to grab food before I rushed out to the hospital early hours. Forgot I hadn’t eaten but a lovely nurse decided I needed feeding. I’m not exactly wasting away 😂 but it was very kind. It’s the little things that make the big difference.

Celebrations in the Beckman household tonight. My consultant gave me the news I needed to hear. No cancer. It’s been a horrid 15 months but now I feel I can move forward. On antibiotics as my wound is infected but that’s nothing compared to what it could have been!!
