Update on infrastructure investment. The Adani Group announced a ₹70,000 crore long-term investment plan for Vidarbha (Maharashtra) covering energy, infrastructure, logistics, aviation, and community development. A major project is an integrated coal gasification and chemicals complex at Linga (Kalmeshwar) expected to create ~30,000 jobs and reduce import dependence for industrial inputs. The group already operates large power assets in Maharashtra, including the 3,300 MW Tiroda thermal plant and revived Butibori plant, supplying reliable electricity including renewable sources. Logistics and aviation investments include an inland container depot, border infrastructure upgrades, and expansion of Nagpur’s aircraft MRO ecosystem, positioning Vidarbha as a logistics and aviation hub.
