@CWBChicago there is a guy in the back doorway with a gun pointed at the cops coming in. When Baker moves he hits the wall/stairs causing him to fire his weapon which is now pointing at Officer Rivera. This is also why he doesn’t immediately render aid - the scene is not clear for him.
