It's very counterintuitive, but the eT drops to near zero with smoky skies, and even when temperatures neared 100 degrees, we had to force ourselves to back off dramatically on the water or we ended up with all kinds of issues. Again, it doesn't feel right, but less is more.

Seeing lots of pics of red sun and water flying from supers in the east. As a (former) turf manager in the west who dealt with this issue many years, I had to learn to manage water differently in those conditions. Turf uses so much less water than you think in these conditions
