Thomas Massie’s reelection effort received major outside support connected to billionaire megadonor Jeff Yass — not through a simple direct campaign donation, but through the super PAC pipeline. According to FEC filings reported by Kentucky Lantern/NKY Tribune, Yass gave $7.5 million to Protect Freedom Political Action Committee on October 20, 2025. Just three days later, on October 23, Protect Freedom sent $1 million to Kentucky First PAC, a newly formed pro-Massie super PAC. By October 31, Kentucky First PAC reported spending $1,006,986 with Maverix Media for a pro-Massie media campaign in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District. The paper trail is simple: Jeff Yass → Protect Freedom PAC → Kentucky First PAC → Pro-Massie Ads This matters because Massie and his supporters have built much of his political brand around independence, grassroots support, and standing against elite influence and Jewish billionaires.
