@jonatmurp @DaytrippingRed Doesn’t change the fact that one of the founders of Liverpool FC was an orange man.

@martin_pmmeath @bernardflynn15 @OfficialCorkGAA @MeathGAA These are two very evenly matched teams. You had the benefit of a slight wind in the first half and that was going to have a baring. It was always going to be a point or two either way. Welcome to modern football.
English

@bernardflynn15 @OfficialCorkGAA @MeathGAA Hi bernard 2nd half was as bad as I've seen 4 many yrs ,it was like westmeath 2015 I couldn't understand the collapse cork were good no douth bur I think we just threw in the towel far 2 early 4 my liking
English

Brilliant 20 minutes from @MeathGAA defensively much more assured some great scores much better team @OfficialCorkGAA very flaky and doing what they do best butchering goal chances Meath up by 8 and a far far superior football team.

Tuchel consistently said he was going to pick players partly on what he thinks is best for atmosphere. I don’t agree with a few of the picks but the way Maguire and his family have acted because he’s not in the squad is proving why he’s not going
Rio Ferdinand Presents@RioMeets
Harry Maguire's confirms he's been left out of England's World Cup 2026 squad!
English

@TheFootyFeed He’s not able to play in a formation that defends on the front foot at half way. He relies on defending his box from deep, which he he is great at, but the team as a whole becomes more defensive as a result.
English

Slabhead has never let his country down, easy to imagine a scenario where we are goal down and we may score it due to his massive set piece dominance, biggest shocker for me after the season he had.
The beginning of the end for Tuchel, scoring an own goal with the fans before the tournament even starts.

English

@kreepkroop Kane will win it if England do well in the Workd Cup. Whoever wins the World Cup will provide the Balon D’or winner.
English

they refused to give haaland the bdor after winning a literal TREBLE and now you're trying to tell me that this bum might get it after 7 goals scored all season? shut this entire operation down

🚨BREAKING: Bukayo Saka is now considered a top favorite for the Ballon d’Or ahead of Harry Kane and Dembele if Arsenal wins the league and the UCL. 🤯🏆
English

@AdamJoseph @EamonnsWord Yeah. Somebody named Adam thinking Eamonn is a name to ridicule is a very strange take. Eamonn is a perfectly reasonable and well used name. Completely odd. Also, most of those selection decisions are subjectively ok. I would say Trent being left out is y to e strangest one.
English

@EamonnsWord A generic argument about England fans - for which I am not one - does not make any point whatsoever. And I'm mocking your name because it's stupid & so was your initial point of view (I don't take you seriously). Thanks!
English

No Harry Maguire, Adam Wharton, Jarrod Bowen, Morgan Gibbs-White, Cole Palmer, Luke Shaw or Lewis Hall in England's World Cup squad?
Instead Dan Burn, Jordan Henderson, Jarell Quansah, Anthony Gordon & John Stones make the cut?
Thomas Tuchel's questionable talent ID is why he shouldn't be given major power at club level & it has shown again here.

@Roger_Wilco93 @leathemsaan1892 @kolas_lou @jimmymcbride1 That’s handball. The rule allows for ricochet’s touching hands to not be handball if not directly from the goal scorer, like Cesko v Liverpool. This was Mbeumo controlling the ball with his hand. In the current rules, that’s handball and the ref team totally ballsed it up.
English

They’ve really shit on this bloke from a great height … no referee will stand by his decision again if called to the screen … it’s poor from Webb who’s overseen a complete & utter shitshow with VAR

@JamieYo43095981 @TheFootyFeed Yeah I’m not a fan of either club. I’m just saying it’s obvious why they left in tears. I watched the match and saw a team that never really tried to win the game and got caught. Maybe if they needed 3 points, they may have approached it differently. They were poor.
English

@timbo0411 @TheFootyFeed I'm not a Hearts fan nor did I watch the game. My comment is based on news articles and various posts I've seen on social media.
English

@JamieYo43095981 @TheFootyFeed They left because they realised they’d not turned up and threw away a golden chance. It’s not uncommon in sports to freeze and I think knowing they had another 10-15% left behind them was tough to take. They will regret that very average performance forever.
English

@TheFootyFeed They left the stadium in a rush for their own safety. They were being attacked by Celtic fans.
English

@rock9050 @buff_egan This sort of commentary is outdated. They need to do something about Hutling because football has over taken it now as a sporting spectacle. The blood and thunder is gone.
English

@buff_egan If the ref was that pedantic about the rules of the game we’d have games ruined with over carrying & throw balls constantly
Be a worse watch than the football
English

@PremierviewPod Well he was 100% right wasn’t he. He can only call what he sees. He said they would finish last and in all likelihood they will. Cannot see anything but a 20 point loss in their last match, unless Limerick rest everyone.
English

There’s no dressing it up, that sounded like a man who hasn’t parked July 20th 2025 just yet.
On The Sunday Game last night , Horgan didn’t just lean away from Tipperary, he went all in against them.
No route out of Munster, Waterford to beat them this coming Sunday and a top three of Limerick, Cork and Clare already pencilled in to come out of the province.
It’s strong, and it’s consistent with where he’s been all year, but it also feels personal. Tipp didn’t just beat Cork last July , they crushed them, and with it,Horgan’s last chance of a celtic cross
From a Tipp angle, that’s fuel.
From a Cork angle, it’s belief.
From a neutral angle, it’s box office.
And the reality?
Munster has a habit of making bold calls look foolish fairly quickly.
English

@ctaylor1902 @BBCMOTD No, they can play the game, make the money then punish them. The efl want their payday
English

The tickets are already on sale, so Southampton will definitely not be kicked out, regardless of what happens in the case.
It’d be an admin nightmare to take tickets back from Saints fans and sell them to Boro ones in the next week.
Feels like it’ll be similar to the West Ham/Sheffield Utd relegation situation 20 years ago- they’ll find out rules were broken when the case is finally concluded and the authorities will just say ‘Oops! Sorry, too late to do anything about it now!’
English

@justbeingmendy @thefinalframes @latoric78 @Carolin53999851 That’s simply not true. They do try. That’s like saying somebody with no legs does not try to run. Or a blind person does not want to see. I think your lack of understanding here leads me to think you may also be on the spectrum which is fine. Our brains are all different.
English

@timbo0411 @MrScreemi @thefinalframes @latoric78 @Carolin53999851 Because they don’t try. If it doesn’t come naturally to them, they don’t want any part of it. Some are offended that they actually have to try at something
English

@Corballyred You cannot blame a player as injury prone when he breaks his leg as a result of a reckless challenge. Soft tissue injuries yes, but he missed most of the season because of an impact injury. He was in form when it happened
English

Can we be honest, Isak has been a terrible signing.
£125m for a striker on course to finish the season with just 4 goals in all competition🫢
We gambled on an injury-prone player and it’s failed spectacularly.
At that price, he needed to hit the ground running.
If United had signed him, we’d be laughing at them now for it.
'Wait for a full pre-season' is wishful thinking when he’s likely to come back injured from the World Cup anyway.
Realistically, you can’t defend this as anything above a 1/10 signing right now.

English

@ScotlandSky I didn’t think it hit his hand. However, the argument that if it did it’s not a pen doesn’t hold water. If it hit his hand it’s a pen. He had no right to have his hand there. I will say again though, I didn’t think it hit his hand.
English

@MrScreemi @justbeingmendy @thefinalframes @latoric78 @Carolin53999851 Don’t bother trying to teach people with mince for brains. They don’t understand. The irony is, their lack of empathy and understanding is exactly what they’re accusing the Sheldon character of. They can’t comprehend how difficult it is for kids on a spectrum to make friends.
English

@justbeingmendy @thefinalframes @latoric78 @Carolin53999851 He can't read emotions. Especially micro expressions most people are highly sensitive recipients for. That is why he can't react to them.
That is a very distinct place on the spectrum. Simply not trainable. It's crazy how accurate the series is regarding this form of autism.
English

@talkSPORT Disallow the goal and give a penalty. That’s how you stop this mess in matches. Should have happened from match 1. Now it’s a big controversy because it’s in the highlight in the last minute. Referee the game by the rules. They don’t use grey areas in any other situation.
English

@NFLWithKyle @benwehrman Exactly. His “flat earth map” is a globe flattened. He’s demonstrating the reason why it’s shorter on a globe to take that route. This flight experiment does nothing to prove his crazy theory.
English

As a former Naval Aircrewman, this is genuinely hilarious.
If flat earthers weren’t already starting out with a severe IQ handicap, this little experiment would unintentionally prove the Earth isn’t flat. On a sphere, the shortest path between two points is a great circle, not a straight line on a flat map. That route curves noticeably northward.
The great-circle distance across the Pacific is roughly 4,800 miles. A constant-heading “straight” line on a flat map (a rhumb line) would drag you out to about 13,500 miles. That’s exactly why airliners fly over Alaska on transpacific routes.
But if there’s one thing we know for sure about flat Earthers, it’s that nothing will ever change their minds 😭😂🥴
English

Anyone who's flown to Europe or Asia from USA (or vice versa) knows that when you watch the in-flight tracker screen, it shows you're making a giant rainbow-arc shape over Greenland/Alaska.
You've probably wondered: "That's weird, why don't they just fly in a straight line? Wouldn't that be the easiest, most fuel-efficient way to get from point A to point B?"
Don't worry - you are not crazy!
Here's what's actually going on with these nonsensical flight paths, explained by Terry Eicher 👇

@QueenAnticommie Are you saying that 2% of revenue to fund salaries is an acceptable basis to run a business. I would say rather than if you can’t afford to eat out, don’t. It should read if you can’t afford to pay your staff, don’t run a business. That notice just highlights the greed of owners.
