@chrismunns I think one of the other things is BS metrics. Many don’t know how to measure WFH and have silly metrics like # of meetings because it is an easy measure. Failure to measure what matters encourages gamification of the system and causes your best to focus on what doesn’t matter.

This is why certain companies are enforcing RTO. During COVID this became rampant at companies that lost sense of meaning and wildly over hired. Bullshit projects and gamified success ladders hidden under too many layers of weak managers. Data came to roost and alas, here we are.
