The first time I tried a Tonal, I knew digital resistance was going to be the future for many home gym owners.
I got ripped on by every Tom, Dick, and Harry for recommending anything that wasn't free weights.
Now, everyone who can afford it is buying Voltra's.
My biggest issue with Tonal: the subscription cost...

ok so 6mg of reta is a bit too much i actually had the feeling that i couldnt finish a meal today similar to when i first started
the 4mg mark seems to be the sweet spot for what im trying to achieve im still able to eat full meals and easily get in my macros without any temptations
back down to 4 we go for next week

Anthropic published their own research recently. Junior engineers using AI agents finish slower. They also understand their work less. Of course they do. They're junior. But senior devevelopers have been pure contempt. 'Just upskill using AI.' Easy to say when you climbed the ladder. Before AI kicked it down.

These are the thinnest weight plates I’ve found. They’re CNC’d from a solid block of steel and then are 4-layer electroplated. A 45lb plate is 0.78” thin, ~40% thinner than most cast iron options.

This is true for day to day ai, people that use them as chatbots have more or less reached their usefulness.
For people who are still using them for research & discovery - there is still plenty of green grass ahead.
The main breakthroughs that I think normies like you will notice will be memory and instant CL

@synthwavedd We need a breakthrough, imo. LLMs have kinda peaked (not saying they can’t get better, but I don’t think current architecture will allow ARC-AGI-3 to be “beaten”, for example).
We need continual learning, long context memory (how did Meta get their Llama a 10M context window!?)
