I've started to play Omaha for micro stakes online (.05/.1 and .1/.2 for cash and $5 at most for tournaments) and am having a BLAST! While I'm far from ready to play live, it's been such a rush. Maybe next year!

@heyjames Not in my view, the way it is facilitated structurally is that well meaning lay leaders (eg. Small group hosts / leaders) will parrot / promote the same inanity as the leader (which they in turn have inherited from an “apostle” or founder). This is IME of course. YMMV.
