I've created a booklet for parents to support family wellbeing. Core topics include Emotional Regulation, Containment, Regulate Relate Reason, Attachment, Boundaries & Rupture/Repair. Filled with information, strategies, tips, QR codes to videos and space to reflect.

Yesterday, I was listening to some of my heroes and experts in their field speaking at the Nurture Conference @NurturingSchs @connect_rp @TINTeducation Today, I was sitting with some of my heroes back in my Nurture room and school. And boy, oh boy, did both days feed my soul!

Such a privilege to have Niall Muldoon @OCO_ireland deliver our keynote address. His office works to give voice to children & young people across Ireland who are often not listened to, a v important aspect of nurturing practice in schools. #NurtureConf23 @NurturingSchs

They really need to, Sandra. I would say the same for restorative practice and other trauma-informed approaches. Practical supports would make a huge difference to the lives of our children and to the adults in schools.

But what if you want to go to all of breakout rooms? 😆 The best kind of dilemma! Really looking forward to the Nurture Conference next week! Some of my favourite Nurture and R.P. voices in there, topped off with a splash of Polyvagal Theory! 🍒 😋

@LukeCareyLondon Nature spaces are great for thi (possibly with an adult accessible but not inferring). Like at forest schools! Will be interested to hear your reflections and discussions re: parenting

I've been thinking about this article alot. I would love to hear some practical advice on what parents can do to counteract this trend - I mean some nice, practical suggestions

@LukeCareyLondon Thanks for sharing. Very interested in this research! Not a parent. But.. I consider risky-play and child-led play an essential part of educational settings. Would recommend parents to seek out and support educational environments that value risky-play.
