It is with a heavy heart that Victoria and I, along with our family, announce the passing of our cherished mother and grandmother, Dolores “Dodie” Osteen. She was the beloved matriarch of Lakewood Church, an inspiration to millions of people around the world, and a faithful servant of God. Known as ‘Mama Dodie’ to the entire Lakewood family, together, we celebrate her amazing life and lasting legacy. She passed of natural causes, peacefully at her home. She was 91 years old.

Blessed are the people who are in such a case. Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD! 🤩 What case? Having our oxen strong to labour; a case where there be no breaking in, nor going out; a place where there is no complaining in our streets. A happy place where our barns are full with every kind of provision. Having our things multiplying by the thousands and ten thousands. #MyPastor #Kingdom #Ministry

Christianity is the only "religion" where the central figure makes claims to be God hinself. Others claimed to be messengers, Jesus claimed to be God! Because HE IS

The way to heaven cannot be by mere morals. Such a holy God can't accept us or reject us on the basis of morality. There is a greater way, which also happens to be the only way; his name is JESUS.

There is actually a place called heaven and there is actually a place called hell. It is better to be prepared for heaven and realize it was all a trick, than to be unprepared and realize it was true all along.

I know we walk by faith and not by sight but if you have been walking in faith for the fulfillment of something but your hope keeps getting deferred, it will be wise to make a slight adjustment in your belief system and that you do by listening to them who are walking in the fulfillment of that which your heart longs for. We should be followers of them who, through faith and patience, have inherited the promises. Don't practise faith detacthed from others. Reposted from 10th February 2016

There is no harvest on tears, only on seeds. Nothing wrong with crying, but make sure you are not just weeping, make sure you are also sowing. Before you misconstrue my thought, the seed is the word of God! Lk 8;11 Sow the WORD! the WORD guarantees HARVEST

Psalm 126:6 AMP He who goes back and forth weeping, carrying his bag of seed [for planting], Will indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

The world needs Preaching, but saints need teaching. The world needs Salvation, saints need transformation.

If what God did in redemption doesn't move you, then you don't know what is just yet.

The bible unpacks how God planned redemption, how he sent his Son to CONSUMMATE it and sent his Spirit to EMPOWER it. It reveals the greatest masterpiece and workmanship of God - The NEW CREATION.

Apart from the first 2 chapters of the bible and the last 2 chapters of the bible. Every other chapter is about REDEMPTION. It is really about how God made righteousness available to mankind. Follow the thread 👇
