Major League Cricket has announced that they will be playing games in Southern California for the first time with five days of matches at the start of July in Pomona, the future site of cricket at the 2028 Summer Olympics. The 2026 MLC playoffs will be held at Oakland Coliseum.

USA Women are set to travel to Rwanda next month for the ICC Women's Challenge Trophy, scheduled for April 18-May 1. USA will play eight matches, two against each team, in the double round-robin event featuring Rwanda, Nepal, Italy and Vanuatu.

Won't happen but if Americans just gave cricket a chance , their minds would be blown . Baseball is a good sport , but dull in comparison

@tds122 Disagree. Close test match is hard to beat but baseball better in most other respects. Amazing game. Saw first test match at oval in 1988 but now you'll find me at Citizens Bark Park.

@Kev_OC66 @tds122 Actually, MLC attendance has been flat over the last three years. And interest from mainstream Americans is just about zilch.

@tds122 The US has had Major League Cricket for the last 3 years. It's T20 & only has 6 teams but it has grown in attendance & tv over those 3 years, plus the T20 is in the LA Olympics in 2028 so that will hopefully bring more American eyes to it.

@tds122 As someone who grew up with cricket and then came to the states; you’re very wrong. Both sports have their own charm and don’t need comparisons. My American students play cricket as part of an assignment in my sport writing class; they teach me baseball in return.
