A personal update: in early August I become a pastoral free agent. It's all for good. After giving my resignation I committed to staying a little longer to make sure the transition goes excellently. But I've got a kid entering Kindergarten soon and we don't know what comes next.

After my debacle in June with United I have flown exclusively Delta or other airlines. I needed to make an exception for schedule reasons for a quick trip this week to Wisconsin and took United. They just cancelled my flight because of "severe weather." It's 48 and sunny.
