No one wants to lose users because of fake AI content. Whether you're an ad platform, a dating app, or a news site—consumers lose trust in a platform flooded with AI-generated content, risking churn and reputational damage. Excited to launch Nuanced, a YC-backed solution for detecting AI-generated images and deepfakes. 🚀 Nuanced solves these challenges via: 1. Custom models trained in zero PII environments. 2. Easy integration supported by your existing infrastructure. You'll never have to compromise user privacy, build costly internal systems, or take on complex integrations.

🔎 @nuanced_dev (YC W24) detects AI-generated images. They help companies like dating apps, ad platforms, and news sites distinguish human-authored materials from AI-generated content. ycombinator.com/launches/KLI-n… Congrats on the launch, @johnny_noumenic and @aymannadeem!

@chacon Ooo! I like this! Similar to how I already use branches (with a bunch of manual work), nice video and demo setup as well.

Virtual branches are about to be a thing and they're pretty cool. Also, I feel like this is a way more interesting way to do a screencast as opposed to a little face in a circle in the corner. Your thoughts?
GitButler@gitbutler

We're getting close to releasing a brand new approach to branching in Git. Check out @schacon's demo, get excited about virtual branches, and read all about how we built it on our shiny new blog: blog.gitbutler.com/building-virtu…

GitHub is planning to permanently close its San Francisco office. I wrote an essay for Wired about why this office was so special, and its place in tech’s cultural history as one of its first disputed territories. wired.com/story/github-t…

@corywilkerson When this happens… really good thing? Or troubling? Feels like it could swing hard either way.

Convinced I'm going to find myself in a meeting one day where everyone just keeps looking at one another, nodding heads, and saying "100%".

Not the hardest grade I've ever climbed, but definitely one of the longest most sustained hard climbs: Weak and Fat, Will Work for Asparagus 5.12a/b: youtu.be/jX8klWRlKLs I'm proud of how well my endurance has come along.

It’s funny, it only took three weeks to build a version of GuideGuide for InDesign, but it took a year and a half to build the foundation upon which that was possible. Help me spread the word! producthunt.com/posts/guidegui…

This is the same thing we've been running at cs.github.com for most of the year - just running in the front end of github.com proper now.

@nathansobo I feel this exact same way. VS Code has so much going for it with regard to performance and responsiveness, but the user experience is messy and anxiety inducing. I don't find myself looking forward to using the application.

Tried VS Code again. I wish I liked it more. The ultimate text editor still eludes me. The heartfelt desire to build a another highly complex product with zero revenue potential is feeling like a curse right now.
