@marcellourbani@toddewilliams@uxKjaer The difference with how CodeTogether does it is that we are locking the file on the host and letting participants edit off of that single locked shared copy. As participants don't need their own lock, this increases collaboration possibilities.
@toddewilliams@uxKjaer In ABAP we lock it on change, so when the editor applies the change on the Nth peer it finds a lock conflict, as the 1st locked it already. And only peer 1 can save
@howlger@toddewilliams@RavisankarC@vogella@EclipseJavaIDE@Genuitec Agree to disagree? Our contribution of helping a million Eclipse users with a free theme many love is by many definitions giving back. The most recent project we've contributed pull requests for is @theia_ide. Have a great day and thanks for all your contributions as well!❤️
@RavisankarC@vogella@EclipseJavaIDE I see, no plain Eclipse. What's the icon on the very right? The plugins from Genuitec (Darkest Dark, DevStyle, CodeMix, etc.) are known to cause such issues, even if they are installed and not used.
@codetogether We are trying it. Have the issue that keyboard shortcuts of the guest don't work as expected. Double-Shift: No reaction, Ctrl+W closes the window (instead of smart selection).
@koppor@codetogether Indeed! CodeTogether is based on #EclipseTheia for the browser - albeit heavily extended to support an IDE-to-Browser experience instead of Cloud IDE.
@koppor@codetogether Unfortunately CTRL-W is a no go due to how browsers work. You can see an old Chromium request here:

Regarding double-space, that should be doable and we'll pick it up in an update shortly. Thanks for letting us know!
@timrwebb I tagged an announcement about the 2.0 release onto the end of last week's episode about BlazeSky (space opera game). CodeTogether will be on deck on the week of July 20th. The announcement is in the last minute of this episode: agilenoir.biz/podcast/107-bl…#AgileThoughts
@LancerKind Hey! On Monday the 6th we have our CodeTogether 2.0 release going out and I was wondering how your production schedule looks for our chat? Looking forward to it!
On other news, have a very happy 4th.🥳
