Wrong. These women are not a product of religion. They are a product of its rejection. If they wanted to be "accepted by [Mormon] culture," they would live their religion instead of openly flouting it. The only acceptance they crave is the vain and fleeting acceptance of a morally bankrupt, hedonist world. They would happier to be mistaken for a Kardashian than for a true follower of Jesus Christ.

It doesn't. These women aren't "Mormon" in any meaningful sense. They have abandoned their faith and covenants. *That* is what creates women like this. Further, how many women are on this show, JC? A handful. How many LDS people are there? 17.5M. It's not hard to walk into *any* large group of people and cherry-pick a few vacuous, disordered, narcissists.

Human beings in general want to believe that ideals are false; that way they won't fall short of them. If there is a people who appear to be healthy, honest, and virtuous, and have some degree of success because of it, there must be some counterexample that proves they are superficial, hypocritical, or, worse, *repressed.* These women have been convinced they are repressed by others wanting to cash in on the demand for counterexamples. There are many Latter-day Saints who are universally admired, but no one admires these women. Least of all each other.

UTAH REPUBLICANS! Neighborhood Caucus Night is tonight at 7:00 PM, with credentialing opening at 6:00 PM. This is where rubber hits the road in Utah politics. At tonight's meeting, you will elect precinct officers to run things at the most grassroots level. You will also elect several delegates to represent your neighborhood at the county and state conventions in April. It could be you! Delegates receive special access to all the candidates, private cell phone conversations, chances for intimate in-person meetings, and more. Candidates will actively court your vote.
