Mormonism teaches that Jesus was literally born to God and whoever his wife is (or wives). The Bible teaches that Jesus is the "I AM". Mormonism is not Christianity.

Genesis is a book and Nephi is a book, they can both be found in a Bible. One is the Bible of Christians and the other is the Bible of Mormons.

One of the reasons why the Book of Enoch was excluded is because it connects many dots to what is really happening. The Book of Enoch teaches that the Nephilim were the children of the fallen angels and the daughters of men, which was accepted in the early churches. The narrative was later changed in Christianity to claim that the Nephilim were the descendants of Seth. The Flood was supposed to end the reign of the Nephilim giants on Earth, a narrative found in Mesoamerica as well...

And their ceremonies are not vain, or personal prayer. Reading the whole chapter/book together is important for context.
