Talent at every school, no matter size. Woodcrest Christian's Eyan Turk & Menlo's Landon Pretre posted 2 fastest times at CA state XC meet. Past track season, those two runners finished 1st & 2nd in 3200 at CA state meet. Benjamin Bouie placed 2nd in 1600. Props to Div V runners.

From tiny Woodcrest Christian school, it’s mighty Eyan Turk who emerges as the CLUTCH @CIFState Boys 3200-meter champion!!!

CCS Champion! Landon Pretre set the Central Coast Section Championships record, winning the 3200m in 8:48.57. Two others Yosef Berhan and Eli Fitchen-Young came in under the 9-minute mark. They brpke the mark of 8:58.2 set in 1983 by Gordan MacMitchell of Gunn.

Justin Pretre, Menlo ’23, was recognized with a Golden Bear Achievement Award for the student-athlete with the highest GPA for men’s cross country!

Landon Pretre, Menlo School senior & Wake Forest commit, ran his second sub 9-minute 3200m of the season to take 10th at the Arcadia Invitational tonight. Pretre, who was 25th in 2024 in a school-record 8:48.11, has run the 3200 in under 9 minutes five times so far in his career
