Hard to believe the Navy is decommissioning USS Anzio (CG 68) in Norfolk today. As a Plankowner (the first crew), we got to bring the ship to life on 5/2/92. It’s sad to see this mighty Aegis Cruiser rusting pierside, but I’ll always be proud to have been part of her crew.
