@Twilight_Husky_ If its out of your budget then move along. Art is a luxury not a necessity, and there are plenty of other artists with considerablely 'lower prices' if youre seeking reference sheets under $150 or less.

Commission prices are out of control. Simple as. 300 bucks for a ref sheet or basic drawing?? Hell no. That's 10 HOURS of my life I would have had to spend to be able to afford that. Actually, it's definitely more than that because the government taxes wages.

Your art must have value to you beyond the approval of strangers. You can't let your frustration over not getting the approval you want outweigh your desire to create. Where is the little flame in your heart that burns you up unless you draw. It's not esoteric, it's important

unfortunately most "big artists" just got lucky, there is no straightforward way into building a following especially nowadays with how evil every social media algorithm is to artists
